Individual instructions will be given on proportion, tonality, volume and colour in drawing and continuing into 'alla prima' portraits in oilpaint:

Beginners and advanced participants are both welcome to these sessions wherein we focus on the female laying nude. The female form enables us to emphasize the structural planes and nuanced volumes of the figure and is therefor considered the ideal and most complete practice of painting. These sessions are on a walk-in basis and allow students to progress individually at their own level each time they participate.

-BEGINNERS-
A guided introduction to oil paints is made possible in these sessions. Students are provided with a limited amount of colours in order to simplify the transition from drawing to oil paint, whilst still allowing the student to apply all colour principles that are taught. // Participants are very welcome to use other mediums or focus on their drawing skills in this long-pose format - For further questions, please feel free to contact us!

Location: These Sessions are held in the studio of professional artist: Edoardo Durdin, at the Maakgemeenschap De Hoop Zaandam, Barndegat 6. Interested parties are cordially welcomed every other Saturday, resuming on the 1st of October.

The doors are opened at 10:45 for all the necessary preparations, sessions starts at 11:00-15:00. These sessions are completely non-profit, participation starts at €60 per session. We charge €5 extra, in case you forget to bring your own canvas.
